Project 1: Marketing Gantos Naturals

For the marketing of my natural dye clothing line, I dressed my friends head to toe in the hoodies and sweats, each with a QR code attached to the back, and had them walk through an art fair in my hometown of Santa Monica.

I saw a significant amount of brand interaction as this activation turned many heads and raised many phones. People were constantly stopping and asking the models questions, taking selfies with them, some even pulled over their cars just to scan the QR codes. I reached over 1.5k views for the website that month.

This event was noticed by a local store owner who presented the idea of hosting the first ever Gantos pop up shop.

Hosting my own pop up shop on Montana Ave. was a major accomplishment especially only a couple months after doing the artwalk activation. I grew up five blocks from this street and I always dreamt of taking over a store front with clothing of my own. I generated about $1,000+ in revenue that day along with a few holiday online orders shortly after.
