On a cold rainy day in Santa Monica, my good friend and I sat in my kitchen flipping through a natural dye recipe book written in the 70s. The first recipe we tried called for powdered turmeric to create a beautiful sunshine yellow. Ever since that day I became obsessed with natural dye. I started to research all there is to know about this ancient technique. I’m proud to say that these pieces are a step in the right direction to minimizing the waste of the manufacturing process in the fashion industry. Using garments made in Los Angeles, each piece is unique and cannot be mass produced.
